Another very nice day at the MGC traps. A cool start, but it did warm up to 60 degrees, LOTS of sunshine all day, and a W/NW wind to make it interesting. 13 MPH with 21 MPH gusts.
But those gusts that would drive the targets up another 10 feet didn’t bother Hot Shot Scott Steffen. On the 3rd squad out Scott ran the singles and the handicap for the coveted 50 straight. That Owatonna breeze didn’t bother him in the least. He just went after those targets and smashed ’em. Great shooting Scott.
Now, you might think that he’d be happy with that and sit around for the rest of the day basking in the limelight. Ahhh, that’s a big NO. Scott squads up with some of regular squad mates, Curt Peterson, Sandy Jack, Dennis Minks and Scott Messenger, goes out and runs the singles, misses his 12th handicap target for a FORTY-NINE!!! So yeah, that makes it a 99/100 day for Hot Shot Scott Steffen. Way to go Scott. And, Scott did play the Perpetual Purse option, all $3 of it and garnered $180 just from that. A good day to say the least.
Saturday October 30th….Pumpkin Pie Shoot….Plan to be at MGC and enjoy the day.
