Oh boy, we went from Arizona like weather to Alaska like weather. It was frickin cold today at the MGC traps. Four degrees with a 9 below wind chill, and lots of sunshine. Did we shoot, you damn right we shot.Well some of us anyway. As you can imagine participation was a little light and there were as many cribbage players and TV watchers as there were shooters. Maybe more, now that I think about it. But, what the heck, it beat sitting home and wondering what was going on at the gun club. Check the attached picture of the Tucson Trio…they don’t know what they’re missing.

Congratulations to Mike Gunderson who posted the ONLY 25 straight!!! Nice shooting Mike. The rest of the scores???? Ahhh, nothing to write home about buts cold weather shooting.

In 3 weeks, February 9th, MGC will be hosting the annual Valentine’s Jackpot. We’ll have a nice piece of jewelry up for grabs. Shootin good won’t matter, we’ll do a random drawing for it. If you enter the event 3 times or more your name will be put in for the drawing. Shoot a 25 straight that day and you’ll bring home a nice box of chocolates for your sweetheart. More details as we get closer.

1st Class…..Jimmy Bowen  41

2nd Class…..Mike Gunderson 37

Thanks to all that braved the weather today to shoot or just visit. Hope to see you next Saturday.
