Well, this was supposed to be the day we held the MGC Jackpot Finale, and what a beautiful day it was. 64 degrees and just a puff of wind, sunny skies. Would have been a perfect day to put up some good scores. But, other than me out there making noise with a chain saw, it was really quiet.
No, we’re on the stay at home program until May 4th. I can only hope that on May 9th we can make some noise. How long the social distancing will be in place is anybody’s guess, but I’d bet that it will be in place for a long time. We’re adults, most of the time, and we WILL find a way to go out, be safe, and have fun. Just something we will have to get used to.
And speaking of that….I had one score called in today but I just can’t post it….I won’t post it, and I won’t be able to get used to it. This COVID 19 virus is affecting people in different way but this inflicted one needs help….NOW. I don’t know if he’ll be able to be cured. The really bad thing is he is in Arizona, one of the “hot spots” that you hear about on every news channel. All we can do is hope and pray for his recovery. What’s his poor wife gonna do….other than go out and have fun. See the attachment. And yes, that’s a frickin skeet field he’s on.
