Jackpot Trap Results | 2017-2018 Season

A BEAUTIFUL day at the MGC traps. A partly cloudy start but then the skies cleared and it really got nice. Light winds and 60 degrees.

Lots on the line today with the increased Daily Lewis Class payouts and the $1000.00 added money for those that qualified. Mark Cameron set the pace by turning a 47 on the 2nd squad out, nice shooting Mark, and that held for quite a while. Jerry Demulling followed with a 47 and Jimmy Brand and Dave Drill had 47’s also. Nice shooting guys. But, on a day like today we all knew that that wasn’t going to hold. Maybe for 2nd place, but the door was open. And Scott Steffen closed the door….part way, by scoring a 48. Nice shooting Scott. I did say “part way”. Yup, Jerry Demulling goes out once more, wastes 1 shell, and posts a 49!!! Oh so close. Great shooting Jerry.

While all this was going on everybody was enjoying some wonderful Lemon Meringue pie, Chocolate Fudge Black Walnut cake with raspberry topping, Cheryl’s famous energy building cookies, and Chocolate Chunk Mint cookies, along with the free brats and spicy sausage appetizers. Thanks everyone who brought treats to share.
